European Traffic Law Days Luxembourg

The team at Coris UK along with other members of the Coris Group will be attending this year's European Traffic Law Days conference in Luxembourg this October. The programme includes the following topics;

• Harmonisation of liability for traffic accidents under civil law
• Subrogation rights of social insurers and preferential quota of damages
• Rome II and Brussels I Regulations
• Modalities for medical expert opinions across Europe
• Direct settlement procedures
• Driving without a licence: implications under criminal and insurance law
• Country-specific presentations on Portugal and an Eastern European country still to be determined.

Last year Michael Zurbrugg, Nick Lavelle and other members of the Coris Group treated their industry colleagues to Champagne and Canapés at Le Royal Hotel in Luxembourg.

Such an event is a great opportunity to network with many important companies from the European motor insurer market. It is hoped that this event will be repeated at this year's conference.
